Bloodshed inevitable if BNP comes to power: QuaderA massive bloodshed is inevitable if BNP comes to power for “even a day”, says ruling party leader Obaidul Quader.
Speaking at a freedom fighters’ representative meeting in the city on Saturday, he said “This time BNP will be more dangerous than it was in 2001. BNP will force us to leave home.”
“They will unleash a reign of terror and introduce the Pakistani-style rule in just one day,” said the Awami League general secretary.
Calling the FFs to foil all conspiracies, Quader said, “All (FFs) have to work shoulder to shoulder to defeat the non-communalism forces in the next national election.”
Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan, who was in the chair, placed a 6-point demand at the meeting.
It includes ensuring no civil service job to the generation of war criminals, anti-Liberation forces and activists of Jamaat-E-Islam and its students wing Chattra Shibi, identifying the civil servants who are loyal to Jamaat-Shibir and sacking them from the post, confiscating the property of war criminals and organizations run by Jamaaat-Shibir, trying the people who undermine FFs and Liberation War, and demonstrators who carried out arson in the name of quota reform movement.
