It’s unbecoming of BNP to comment about a fire accident when they themselves burned many people in the name of anti-government movements, said Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud.
BNP blaming the government for the Chawkbazar tragedy is completely irresponsible and unacceptable, he told the media on Friday (Feb 22).
“The government is completely alert. Its times like these that the opposition parties should stand beside the government to tackle the crisis,” Mahmud commented.
Responding to queries about Jatiya Oikya Front’s public hearing, the ruling party’s publicity and publication secretary said that the alliance leaders should stand beside the people rather in this time of need.
