As a part of ruling Awami League’s election campaign, its President Sheikh Hasina will address seven rallies on her way from Gopalganj to Dhaka on Wednesday (Dec 12).
AL polls campaign will officially kick off as the prime minister is set to pay homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj on that day.
AL Joint Secretary Abdur Rahman said, “Sheikh Hasina will place wreath at the grave of Bangabandhu and joined a munajat and offering of fateha.
Hasina will then address seven rallies at different points on her return to the capital.
“She (Hasina) will address a rally at Bhanga circle in Faridpur, Faridpur circle, Rajbari road circle, Paturia Ghat, Manikganj bus stand, Rabeya Medical College and Hospital premises in Dhamrai and Savar bus stand,” said Rahman.
Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for Gopalganj on Tuesday noon.
