BNP is likely to announce the list of their final candidates for the upcoming polls on Wednesday (Nov 5) evening, says its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
“We will finalise the list by today (Wednesday). The announcement may come by evening,” he told the media at BNP chief’s Gulshan office on Wednesday.
BNP had initially given nominations to over 800 candidates for 300 seats of the parliament.
The election commission on Dec 2 cancelled nominations of 141 BNP candidates including three of the incarcerated party chief Khaleda Zia.
