A senior leader of Jatiya Party has demanded punishment to the perpetrators who are involved in the clash in front BNP headquarters on Wednesday (Nov 14).
“Identity of real culprits must be revealed,” said JP Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader.
At a party programme at JP’s Banani office on Thursday, Howlader said “The Election Commission should be more responsible to face any conspiracy on the national election.
“The JP will provide its all-out cooperation to the EC over the election,” he added.
The party, however, distributed its nomination forms for the fifth day.
As many as 2,856 people have collected forms till Thursday to contest the 11th Parliamentary Election on the JP ticket.
