The interview of nomination seekers of Awami League (AL) will be held on Wednesday (Nov 14).
“Party chief and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will preside over the series of interview,” AL Office Secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap told Bangla Tribune.
The interview will start at 11am at the AL president’s Dhanmondi offices in the city.
AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader said, “Deadline to collect and submit the party’s nomination forms ends at 6pm today (Monday).”
Quader, however, ruled out of any possibility to extend the deadline.
“We will not extend the deadline despite the EC’s rescheduling the polls... the prime minister will interview the nomination seekers,” said Quader, who is the road transport minister.
