14-party alliance rally in Dhaka on Oct 29

14-party AllianceWith the 11th Parliamentary Election due late this year, ruling Awami League-led (AL) 14-party alliance will hold mass rallies at different places of the country including capital Dhaka to mobilize its public support.
As part of the programmes, the alliance will hold a rally in the capital’s Motijheel area on Oct 29.
The decision came after the alliance held a meeting a meeting at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, AL Presidium member and also spokesperson of the 14-party alliance Mohammed Nasim told the media.
Besides the capital, rallies will be held in Jashore and Chuadanga districts on Oct 25 and 26 respectively, Nasim, also Health and Family Welfare Minister, said.
Speaking about the newly-floated Jatiya Oikya Front, Nasim said the main target of the people-deviated leaders is to foil the general election in the name of Jatiya Oikya Front.
“But people of the country are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. They (people) will not let them (Oikya Front leaders) succeed in hatching any conspiracy,” news agency BSS quoted Nasim.
AL Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud, Bangladesh Samyabadi Dal General Secretary Dilip Barua, Workers Party of Bangladesh leader Anisur Rahman Mallik, Jatiya Party (JP) Presidium Member Ezaz Ahmed Mukta, Convener of Communist Center Dr Wazedul Islam Khan, Ganatantri Party leader Dr Shahadat Hossain, Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal Convener Rezaur Rashid, National Awami Party (NAP) leader Ismail Hossain and Tariqat Federation Secretary General Rezaul Haque joined the meeting, among others.
