Hospitals admit 128 dengue patients in 24 hrs

Till Monday (Nov 11) morning, 56 new patients were admitted in Dhaka and 72 in districts outside Dhaka.
The Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room at the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), in a media release issued Monday, said the number of patients currently undergoing treatment in government and private hospitals in the country was 755, including 347 in the capital.
Since January, 97,929 people were hospitalised with dengue. Of them, 96,926 made full recovery.
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research has received 251 reports of dengue-related deaths. It has reviewed 179 of them and confirmed 112 deaths.
