Dhaka North Councillor of ward 33 Tarequzzaman Razib has been expelled from Jubo for breaching organization’s discipline.
Jubo League General Secretary of the matter to Bangla Tribune Harunur Rashid confirmed the matter to Bangla Tribune on Sunday (Oct 20).
Rajib, who was serving as the front’s Dhaka Noth Unit joint general secretary, was expelled following his arrest late on Saturday (Oct 19) over the ongoing casino crackdown.
Rapid Action Battalion arrested him from the capital’s Bashundhara on allegations of extortion, casino business and other illegal activities.
