Popular pop singer Mila's ex-husband pilot Parvez Sanjari has been admitted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) with burn injuries.
“Sanjari was admitted to the hospital following burn injuries, caused by an acid attack, late on Saturday (Jun 2),” said DMCH police outpost Inspector Md Bacchu Mia quoting victim’s younger brother, SMR Rahman.
Sanjari suffered the burn injuries around 8pm on Sunday on Road No 7/B at Uttara’s Sector-3, added Mia.
Sanjari, a resident of Uttara sector 3, alleged that her ex-wife Mila has been threatening her since they got divorced a year ago and the incident could be a consequence of that issue.
