A fire has broken out at a 10-storey building in Dhaka’s Mirpur.
“The fire caught the City Park building in Kochukhet area of Mipur Section No. 10 at 5:05pm,” said Mirpur Fire Services Station’s officer Ershadur Rahman.
Fifteen fire-fighting units from Mipur and nearby stations have been dispatched to the scene to tame the fire, he added.
Rahman said that the fire was tamed after the evning.

No causality were reported.

Local Kafrul police OC Aslam said, the fire caught the building’s six and seven floor.

The building houses mostly garment accessory warehouses, according to the OC.
Locals said that there is a market on the on the building’s ground floor and a Chinese restaurant and convection centre on first and second floors while rest of its floors houses garment factories and warehouses.
