Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bangla calendar, was celebrated across the country on Sunday (Apr 14) amid traditional festivities which have become an integral part of Bangalees. This unique sunrise has always prompted us both to celebrate and to step outside the day-to-day activity we’re always so busy with—to reflect, to look back, take stock, assess how we did, and resolve to do better going forward.
To celebrate this Pahela Baishakh, Meena Bazaar and Meena Trust organized a star-studded cultural program to welcome Bangla New Year in Dhanmandi, Dhaka. So, here goes a few glimpses of the most grand celebration.
