Incarcerated BNP Chief Khaleda Zia is likely to be shifted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Sunday (Mar 10), say people with knowledge of the matter.
BSMMU Director Abdullah Al Harun told Bangla Tribune that Khaleda will be will be brought to BSSMMU today (Sunday).
However, he didn’t say when the former premier will be shifted.
According to hospital sources, the BSMMU authorities have prepared two cabins (Room 621, 622) in the cabin block.
Three-time premier Khaleda, has been serving a total of 17 year jail term at the Old Dhaka jailhouse for her involvement in the Zia Orphanage Trust and Zia Charitable Trust graft cases.
