A massive fire has broken out in a five-storied building at the old Dhaka’s Chakbazar area.
The fire was reported at 10:38 on Wednesday (Feb 20).
All available units at every fire service stations has been instructed to move to the scene as the fire is spreading faster, Civil Defence Control Room Duty Officer Mahfuzul Haque Regan told Bangla Tribune.
Initially 10 units rushed to the affected building which is located beside Chakbazar’s Shahi Mosque.
The cause of fire was not immediately available.
