Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested the acting editor of an online news portal (dainik71.com) for 'anti-state campaign'.
Sheikh Riad Muhammad Noor was arrested from the capital’s Shegunbagicha area on Saturday night (Dec 8), said RAB media wing Director Mufti Mahmud Khan.
“Noor has been arrested over engaging in anti-state campaign and spreading false news on his news portal,” he added.
Unauthorized use of news, image, information, etc published by Bangla Tribune is punishable by copyright law. Appropriate legal steps will be taken by the management against any person or body that infringes those laws.
