Padma Oil is not being able to properly supply aircraft fuel leaving flight schedules disrupted at the Dhaka Airport.
At least six flights belonging to six different carriers could not fly on scheduled time on Saturday (Dec 8), according to sources.
Few other flights including one Cathay Pacific faced the delay on Sunday (Dec 9) as well.
A Regent Airway official said, “Padma oil is failing to refuel aircrafts, therefore we could not clear our aircraft to fly.”
“Shortage in oil supply still persisted on Sunday morning,” he added.
Sources said frights operated by Emirates Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Biman Bangladesh, Rigent, and Thai Lion Air failed to fly on time.
