Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish Amir Habibur Rahman has passed away in his Sylhet residence at 12:30am Friday(Oct 19).

Rahman, who has been the principal of Jaamia Madania Kajirbajar Madrasa on Sylhet, has left behind his wife, four sons and three daughters.

He will be laid to rest at the madrasa premises following his namaj-e-janaza after Jumma prayers, said Khelafat Majlish spokesperson Muhammad Harunur Rashid Bhuiyan.

Senior Nayeb-e-Amir of the party Mawlana Ismail and General Secretary Mawlana Mahfuzul Haque expressed condolences at their party chief’s demise.

Jatiyo Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad has also extended condolences and expressed sympathy for the family members of the deceased.
