Photo source: Internet.The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) raided the office of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education on the allegations of huge bribery transactions for transfer and posting purposes.

A three-member team led by its Assistant Director Moinul Hasan Raushani, conducted the drive on Tuesday.

The Director-General (DG) said the ACC that the transfer and posting procedures couldn't be hassle-free due to corruption, ACC sources said.

However, he has made an initiative to hold direct hearings with the complainant teachers to solve the problems.

When asked about the steps taken against the ACC enlisted 25 teachers involved in the illegal coaching business, the DG told the ACC that the accused teachers have been transferred outside of Dhaka as disciplinery action and no further appeals would be considered for them to come to Dhaka.

About the operation, the Director General (Admin) of Enforcement Operations of ACC Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, said that the ACC's campaign aims to prevent irregularities and corruption in education sector.
