Howlader-and-Khan

Jatiya Party Secretary General, Ruhul Amin Howlader and BNP leader Morshed Khan have sought time to appear before the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on medical grounds.

ACC spokesperson, Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, said, “They didn’t come today, but filed time pleas instead.”

On Sept 13, the graft watchdog issued notices summoning JP top leader Howlader, Former minister Morshed Khan and his wife Nasrin Khan for interrogation at its office on Tuesday (Sept 18).

ACC summoned Howlader to quiz him on allegations of illegally amassing wealth while the Khan couple was summoned in connection with the AB Banks’ money embezzlement case, filed by the anti-graft body on Jun 28, 2017.
