Two alleged robbers have been killed in the capital in what the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) describes it as a shootout.
The incident was reported from city’s Rayerbazar Intellectuals Graveyard area in the wee hours of Tuesday, said RAB spokesman Mufti Mahmud Khan.
Firearms, bullets and other materials used in robbery were seized from the scene, he added.
The victims are yet to be identified.

“Police recovered the bodies from the spot and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy,” told Mohammadpur police Sub-Inspector Shafiq to Bangla Tribune.
