Road Safety Protests: 14 students granted bailFourteen students have been granted bail in 10 separate cases filed with Dhaka’s six police stations over violence during the road-safety protests with.
Judges of the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court separately passed the bail order on Monday (Aug 20).
The students bailed in case with Vatara police are Aminul Islam Bayjid amd Zaber Ahmed Ullah.
Two students -- Risnatul Ferdous and Bayejid got bails in the case with Badda police, two others – Shamim and Sohel in Uttara-West police and another student Mahbubur Rahman secured bail in the case filed with New Market police station.
Three students bailed in case with Dhanmondi police are Zobaer Hossain, Gazi Imam Bukhari and Saddam.
Four students – Ihsan Uddin Ifaz, Mahabubur Rahman, Saidul Islam Towhid and Shahriar Hossain got bail in the case with Ramna police station.
Earlier on Sunday courts in Dhaka granted bails to 42 students.
