Former senior secretary Nasima Begum has been appointed as the new chairman, a commission statement said on Sunday (Sept 22).
The statement said that a new commission has been formulated with former secretary Dr Kamal Uddin Ahmed as a permanent member.
Meanwhile, Supreme Court lawyer Toufa Aftab, former Rangamati Hill Tracts zila parishad chief Chingkyu Royaza, former judges Jesmin Ara Begum and Mizanur Rahman and former secretary Namita Haldar have been appointed honorary members.
