Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda has expressed his hope that BNP would take part in the upcoming general election.
He was speaking with media Thursday after holding a meeting with law enforcing agency about Barishal, Sylhet and Rajshahi city corporation election at his office in Agargaon.
“I hope that BNP would take part in the election. The election will be inclusive,” he said.
Terming BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s imprisonment as legal issue, he said, “We have no knowledge about it and we have nothing to do in this regard.”
In reply to a question, he said, “Level playing field has been created for everybody and it will remain so.”
