A Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrim has been killed, and seven others injured in a road accident in Saudi Arabia.
The incident took place 100km away from Medina in Wadi al-Fara around 2am Dhaka time after the tyre of the bus carrying the pilgrims burst on Saturday (Aug 16), Chief of Bangladesh Hajj Mission in the kingdom Maksudur Rahman told Bangla Tribune.
The identities of the victims were immediately unenviable.
The injured have been admitted to the local hospital in critical condition, Rahman said.
