The demonstration that started in front of the prime minister’s residence Ganobhaban stretched to the president’s official residence Bangabhaban.
The protest was organised by the student affiliates of the political parties, NGOs and human rights organisation in Asadgate, Shahbag, Elephant Road, Bata Signal, Katabon, Shahbag, Engineers Institute, High Court, Press Club, Paltan intersection, Doinik Bangla intersection and RAJUK areas.

“The culprits know that as long they are part of the ruling party there will be no justice for the crimes they commit,” he said.
He added that the ruling party was responsible for it too as they carry out their criminal activities throughout their student affiliates.

The reward for those who aided in this is unrestrained murder, rape and looting,” Selim said.
Anandadyuti Khelaghar Ashor President Laboni Shabnam Mukti who was present at Asadgate said that the protest will continue as long as Nusrat doesn’t get justice.

They allegedly lured her to the roof, poured kerosene on her and set her on fire for refusing to lift sexual assault charges against the now suspended madrasa principal Siraj-ud-Daula.
Nusrat lost her five day battle with extensive burn injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Wednesday (Apr 10).
