A Malaysian Airlines flight, carr+ying the deceased Bangaldeshis reached the Shahjalal International Airport around 1:05 am on Saturday (Apr 13).

The bodies have been handed over to the families, said the Airport’s Expatriate Welfare Desk Assistant Director Tanvir Hossain.

“The victims’ families have been handed cheques worth taka 35 thousands each for transportation of bodies and furenal arrangements,” he added.

Bodies of five Bangladeshi nationals who died in road accidents in Malaysia have been brought back to Dhaka.The road crash victims are Chandpur’s Al Amin, 24, Sohel, 24, Noakhali’s Golam Mostofa, 22,  and Cumilla’s Mohin, 37, Raju Munshi, 26.

On Apr 7, a bus carrying the Bangladeshis went off track before ending up in a road side pit killing the five men. Few other Bangladeshis sustained injuries in the incident, which left a total of  10 people dead including the driver.

Forty three people were on board the bus at the time of the accident. All of them were contracted workers at the MAS Cargo Complex.
