They covered their faces with black clothes with placards in hand during the demonstration on Pragati Sarani on Thursday (Mar 21).

“We carried out a completely peaceful program. We blocked the roads yesterday [Wednesday] but didn’t do so today [Thursday],” BUP student Fahmin Chowdhury told the media.

Saying that there will be no programs on Friday and Saturday she added, “The government asked for seven days and we gave it to them. We’ll take to the streets again on Sunday.”

A first-year student of BUP Abrar Ahmed Chowdhury was run over by a Supravat bus on Tuesday (Mar 19) morning in front of Jamuna Future Park, triggering a countrywide protests by students.
