An information centre has been opened at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) to convey update on the victims of Chawkbazar fire that killed nearly 70 people and injured dozens.
Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, district administration and Fire Service and Civil Defence jointly open the center.

Unidentified bodies would be handed over after DNA matching through the centre.
Authorities on Thursday (Feb 21) wrapped up the rescue operation after nearly 14 hours of hectic efforts to douse the blaze as the toll in the inferno in the old part of Dhaka stood at 68 people while it tore through densely packed buildings.
