‘Airport signboards must be in both Bangla and English’

His orders came on Wednesday (Feb 20) during a sudden inspection of the airport counters, expatriates desk and immigration counters.
The state minister was returning from Abu Dhabi with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He said that the signboards at the desks must specify the services they provide in both languages as well.
During the inspection, Ahmed suggested that separate lines should be formed for women and those with visit visas at immigration.
He also spoke to the people familiar matter to transfer the expatriate’s help desk. He also inspected the operations of the smart card provided by the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training and ordered that the number of people receiving service each day be listed.
