Myanmar tells Rohingyas in zero line to leave

About 4,000 Rohingyas have taken shelter at ‘no man’s land’ between Bangladesh and Myanmar at Bandarban’s Tamru. BANGLA TRIBUNE.Myanmar authorities have once again warned the Rohingyas living in the zero line to leave for Bangladesh.
Border force personnel, using megaphones, were heard saying on Saturday that the Rohingyas were living in Myanmar land and that they have to leave the area.
Dil Mohammad, a spokesperson of the Rohingyas living across the border at Bandarban’s Tambru, said the announcement started from Saturday morning. “They had done it previously and started once again now,” he told Bangla Tribune.
Myanmar authorities using megaphones to warn Rohingyas to leave no man`s land and move towards Bangladesh area.The local Ghumdhum Union Council chairman echoed. He said that tensions gripped among the Rohingyas since the announcements through megaphones.
About 4,000 Rohingyas have taken shelter at ‘no man’s land’ between Bangladesh and Myanmar. They are part of the waves of the Myanmar Muslim minority, who had fled a military crackdown in Rakhine.
Earlier in March, Myanmar forces made similar announcements by megaphones warning the Rohingyas to leave the area.
