Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen sought support of Indonesia for early solution of Rohingya crisis.
He made the call when his Indonesian counterpart Retno Lp Marsudi congratulated him over phone on Wednesday, a foreign office press release said on Thursday (Jan 1), reports state news agency BSS
The Indonesian foreign minister expressed conviction that the friendly relations between Bangladesh and Indonesia will be augmented further based-on mutual understanding and respect in the years ahead.
Marsudi visited Bangladesh in 2016 and 2017 to discuss the Rohingya issue with Bangladesh authorities, adds the report.
