Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Javed Patwary has met Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda.
Patwary, accompanied by Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman, come to Election Commissioner’s Agargaon office in the city on Monday (Dec 17) evening.
The IPG hold an hour-long meeting with the CEC there.
Neither the police boss nor the CEC briefed the media after the meeting.
According to EC officials, the IGP informed the CEC about the law and order stations across the country as the national election draws near.
