On the second day of hearing candidates’ appeals challenging rejection of their nomination papers, the Election Commission (EC) on Friday (Dec 7) has restored nominations of 78 aspirants among 150 while it kept seven on hold.
The rest of the appeals were rejected.
EC will resume hearing appeals from appeal number 311 as it heard appeals numbers 161-310 of Friday.
