The education engineering department under the technical and madrasa education division will implement this by Dec 31, 2021.
As per information, there are 9311 Dakhil, Alim, Fazil and Kamil madrasas in Bangladesh; of these, only three are government run while the rest are managed through private administration.
The salaries, benefits of private madrasas are being provided by the government through MPO.
Work is already underway to improve the madrasa infrastructure and ensure quality education.
Under this, buildings with two to three class rooms have been constructed in 4559 madrasas.
However, a large number of madrasas still do not have the proper infrastructure; to redress this, the plan to develop 1681 madrasas was taken.
The selected madrasas will be given power connection, sanitation facilities with new benches and chairs. Around 6714 teachers will be trained, curriculum made more dynamic with provision for creative learning and, special toilets made for students with particular needs.
