After a huge announcement, the website of Nayak Raj Razzak was inaugurated on January 23, 2016. But after that step, there is ‘so-called’ situation! Although two years have passed, nothing has been added to the website, except a still photo and his date of birth & death.
In the year 2016, ANUN ICTM, information and technology-based organization, started working on this web. But there is nothing in reality.
Concerning this, Bangla Tribune has talked with the family members of late Razzak. On behalf of Razzak’s family, his youngest son Shamrat has shared some word. He said, ‘After the death of my father, Faisal contacted on behalf of ANUN ICTM. I gave him contact numbers of some journalists, including the contact number of my eldest brother Bappa. But later what happened, I do not know. After the death of my father, we were mentally very upset. Later, there was no contact with them.
To know the present status of the website, Bangla Tribune has contacted with 'ANUN ICTM'. Moin Hasan, one of the officials of that organization, said, 'We wanted to operate this site for our love to Nayak Raj Razzak. Later we did a lot of effort. But late Razzak’s family could not cooperate with us on this. They may have been busy in many ways. Razzak’s son Shamrat gave us the mobile numbers of some journalists. But we didn’t get much information from them. Even there is a shortage of information in Government Archive. So we're a little backward. So, we can’t go further.
There is nothing but a still photo of Razzak on such a question, he said, “We wanted someone who belongs to Razzak’s family would verify the information on Razzak but they (Razzak’s family members) didn’t cooperate with us on this. And it is not logical to provide information on a website without authentication or verification. So, the task stuck in its progress. We wanted to create a perfect website on our Nayak Raj Razzak.”
But the story doesn’t end here. Bangla Tribune came to know that the domain of the website of Razzak (www.nayakrajrazzak.com) faced an auction and after that, the domain doesn’t belong to ‘ANUN ICTM’. The company also hid this matter when talking to Bangla Tribune. On contrary, in August last year, the domain was bought by a company named 'Content Tree'. Faisal Rajib, the owner of the company ‘Content Tree’, was the person who actually contacted with Razzak’s family. Faisal Rajib said, “We have arranged much content related to Nayak Raj Razzak. We will hold a meeting with Bapparaj next week. Content will be uploaded if he permits. We are just waiting for his permission.”
Nayak Raj Razzak, a legend of Bangla Film Industry, born in Calcutta on January 23, 1942, and deceased on August 21, 2017, at the United Hospital, Dhaka.
