The film ‘Selai Jeebon’ will portray the life of garment workers in Bangladesh.
The shooting has been completed at the different locations in Narayanganj and Dhaka.
Based on Faruk Mohiuddin short story ‘Shorirbrittiyo’, Anik Kanti Sarkar wrote the screenplay.
Director Shohel Rana Boyati said, “The garment (RMG) sector contributes a significant portion in our national income, but the life of a garment worker is full of hardship. Every year we see, they wage movement for their wages and allowances. We have also tried to cover the aspect of children working in an unhealthy environment.”
Shimul Khan, Joyita Mahlanbish, Saju Ahmed, Neela, Papia, Sadia and several others have played different roles in the film.
The film will also be released online soon, said the director.
