Newly-wed star couple Nick Jonas, 26, and Priyanka Chopra, 36, were meant to be, according to Nick’s older brother Joe Jonas.

His comments came on Sunday (Dec 9) during an event in New York, reports people.com

 “Seeing Nick’s face when he first met her, and the way he talks about her, and then getting to meet her and seeing what an amazing person she is, I knew right away that they were a match made in heaven,” said Joe.

The American singer Nick and Bollywood actor Priyanka tied their knot on Dec 1 in a Christian style wedding ceremony which followed an Indian wedding ceremony in India’s Jodhpur.

Joe took to Instagram wishing them on their marriage saying, “Super Married! I Love You Both! Welcome to the Family Pri! Congratulations! My face hurts from all the smiling this week.”

He had also shared a picture of the new couple looking fabulous together.
