A Lalmonirhat Judge Court lawyer has gone missing while on his way back home from court.
Fifty-two year old Hafizur Rahman Hafiz has been missing since Tuesday (Nov 19), says family.
His son Sadman Sakib Snigdho filed a general diary (GD) with Lalmonirhat sadar police regarding the matter early on Wednesday (Nov 20).
Lalmonirhat sadar police OC Mahfuz Alam said: "Advocate Hafizur's family members have filed a general diary in connection with the disappearance. Inspector Mozammel Haque has been appointed as the investigating officer in this case."
"Hafizur's cell phone was found switched off since 5pm on Tuesday. We are investigating the case of his disappearance with utmost importance," the OC added.
Hafizur's wife Shirinaz Parveen said: “My husband went to court around 10am as usual, however he did not return home at night. We called him but his phone was switched off and then went to our relatives' house searching for him.”
