The dilapidated road condition has made the Cumilla residents’ life a complete misery.
The road network of 1,200 kilometre in the district are damaged and have potholes.
Roads and Highway Division tries to mend the roads with bricks, but it does not last more than two or three days.
It creates traffic jam in the road and becomes vulnerable to accident.
An official of the division Mofazzal Haider said, we are trying to repair the roads as soon as possible.
We have the necessary budget but cannot start the work due to rain, he added.
