A fire has broken out at the Minister Electronics factory in Gazipur.
Around 7:30am on Friday (Sept 13), flames erupted at the facility at Dhirasram area of Sadar upazila, said the Fire Service.
"The fire broke out on the sixth floor of the factory and spread quickly," Gazipur Fire Service and Civil Defense Senior Station Officer Atikur Rahman said.
As many as six fire-fighting units from Joydebpur and Tongi have rushed to the spot and battling the flames.
The cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed.
