Police have recovered a body of youth from Buriganga River on Sunday (July 8).
Police said, “Local residences Mirerbag of South Keraniganj notice a body in Buriganga River at 5pm on Sunday and inform us and we recovered the body”.
The body was wearing a full sleeved shirt, said police.
South Keraniganj Police SI Mohammad Akkel Ali said, “The body has been sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College for autopsy.”
“A case has been filed in South Keraniganj Police Station over the matter,” SI Ali added.
