Police have recovered the body of a man in Kugiram Sadar municipality area, three days after he went missing.

The deceased has been identified as Sultan Ali, 51.

The body was recovered from a field in Krishnapur Kamarpara area of the town on Friday morning, confirmed Kurigram Sadar police station Officer in Charge (OC) Mahfuzur Rahman.

The OC said that although family members claimed that Sultan had been since Aug 15, Sultan had been dead for at least two or three days.  

Sultan’s wife Shiuli Begum, son Sharif, father-in-law Idris Ali and another person named Momin were being interrogated over the matter, the OC said.
