While paying respect to the mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujinur Rahman, Kazi Nabil Ahmed, MP has said that the fugitive killers of Bangabandhu will be brought back to the country to be hanged for their crime.
After coming to power, the current government carried out the trial of the killing of Bangabandhu to absolve the nation of an ignominious event, said Kazi Nabil, adding: “the killers who are hiding abroad will be brought back and punished.”
Bangabandhu was a leader above religion, creed and race and there’s no place for any hesitation over his role, said the MP from Jashore-3.
Kazi Nabil made the comments on Thursday (Aug 15) at the Jashore district auditorium. Earlier, a rally to mourn the killing of Bangabandhu was brought out in the city.
The MP also paid respect to the Bangabandhu mural at Bakultala of the city.
At this time, district AL workers, leaders, police superintendent, members of Chhatra League, Mohila League and others were present.
