Ahead of the second phase of Upazila Council polls, scheduled on Monday (Mar 18), the Election Commission (EC) has ordered withdrawal of Moulvibazar’s Kulaura police OC Md Shamim Musa.
OC Musa received the official directive in this regard on Saturday (Mar 16) and handed over the duties to the stations Inspector Sanjay Chakrabarti.
The reason behind withdrawing Musa from Kulaura was not immediately clear.
