Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested two members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh from the southern district of Barguna.

The arrestees have been identified as Alhaz Abdul Awar Siraj, 54, and Ali Hossain alias Mainuddin, 45.

Ontip-offss, the elite force made the arrests on Sunday (Jan 6) after conducting raids in different areas of the district, RAB-8 told a media brief on Monday (Jan 7).

According to RAB-8 sources, the arrested duo admitted during primary questioning that they are active members of JMB.
