The entire credit for Bangladesh’s significant development in the realms of education, health, infrastructure and maternal mortality goes to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s people friendly administration, says Jashore-3 MP Kazi Nabil Ahmed.

His remarks came on Monday (Dec 3) at an event at Kachua Union of Jashore.

“Unprecedented development in the country has left world leaders surprised. They asked the secret to our growth in poverty alleviation, social security projects, energy sector and we told them, when Sheikh Hasina is in power, everything is possible,” said Ahmed.

Speaking as the main speaker at the Awami League’s Kachua unit committee members’ rally, he said. “We will celebrate the golden jubilee of our independence in 2021 while Dr Kamal, Dr Yunus and their likes have joined together to tarnish the country’s image. They are trying to foil the election but, the people will not let that happen.”

On party nominations for the upcoming polls, he said, “Bangladesh Awami League is a big political party. A lot of worthy candidates want to get the party ticket.”

“Our responsibility as party activists is to be united and work for the candidate picked by the party chief Sheikh Hasina,” he added.
