A head-on collision between a bus and leguna in Gazipur has left three dead.

Ten others were injured in the incident which was reported around 7:45am on Monday from Rajendrapur-Kapasia road.

We are yet to identify the victims, said Gazipur Metropolitan Police Traffic Inspector Mohammad Shiraj.

He said, “A bus, carrying garments workers collided head-on with a leguna leaving three dead on the spot and injured 10 other. Locals rushed the victims to Rajendrapur Cantonment Hospital.”

Bodies of the victims have been sent to Tajuddin Medical College Hospital morgue while the vehicles involved in the accident have been seized, added Shiraj.
