Newly-formed coalition Jatiya Oikya Front is holding their second public rally in Chattrogram amid tight security around the venue.

The rally, presided over by Chattogram Metropolitan BNP president Dr Shahadat Hossain started around 1.30pm in front of the party office at Kazir Dewri area.

Police have tightened security around the rally venue with additional force deployed.

Key leaders of the Alliance including Ganaforum President Dr Kamal Hossain, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, JSD President ASM Abdur Rab offered ziarat at the resting place of Hazrat Shah Amanat before attending the rally.
