A tourist in Bandarban died as he slipped and fell into the Nafakhum waterfall at Bandarban’s Thanchi Upazila on Wednesday (Oct 17).
The victim, 27-year-old Ariful Hasan Fahim, a resident at the Capital’s Mirpur area was visiting Thanchi with his friends according to locals.
“His body has been recovered and brought to Thanchi police station,” said Md Habibul Hassan, a top official of Border Guard Bangladesh, Bandarban.
