The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is planning to specially honour Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with a memorial during the day-night test at Kolkata where the Tigers will face off India on Nov 22.

CAB is likely to honour the premier with a memorial and gold coin, Indian Bengali news outlet  Anandabazar reported on Sunday (Nov 3).

The second test of the series will be held at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens where CAB chief and president-elect of the BCCI Sourav Ganguly invited Sheikh Hasina along with her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi to watch the game.

Moreover, the CAB is also sending invites to former Indian test captains to watch the first match and join the players in singing their national anthem.
